Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quoting tool needs only six details: your gender, birth date, how you'd describe your health, tobacco use, how much coverage you want, and the term you're considering. Your name, address, and medical history stay private until you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the monthly costs each carrier would charge for the health tier you chose. The actual premium and final health tier are determined by the carrier's underwriting process, which may raise, lower, or confirm what you estimated. Nothing here is a binding offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You'll provide your name, and the application launches with the exact quote you selected. It runs on the carriers' secure system where you can save your progress and come back later. Electronic signature is available. Susman Insurance Agency (California License 0B75129) coordinates the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
That varies by carrier, coverage amount, and your health details. Some carriers offer immediate decisions for eligible applicants; each quote on this site tells you whether an exam is required, might be required, or is not needed.
Is a longer term better?
Choose a term that spans the years when a loss would hurt most—while you're paying a mortgage, raising children, or paying business debt. Longer terms mean higher monthly costs but a locked-in rate for more years. The quote tool compares all five standard lengths: 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years.
Does this site sell my information?
No. Quotes don't require contact information, we don't sell data, we have no advertising partners, and our visitor tracking uses no cookies. The privacy page lists exactly what's collected and who has access.
